Recycling your old uPVC frames keeps valuable plastic out of skips and gives it the opportunity to be processed and reused. Our household collection service also saves you the cost and inconvenience of hiring a skip—simply prepare the frames, leave them at the front of your property and we’ll collect them as part of a scheduled route.

Household collections are available in selected locations for full house replacements and complete conservatories.

Household uPVC Frame Collections

Had a full house of windows or a conservatory replaced? Reframe Recycling can collect the old uPVC frames for recycling from your home.
Our household collection service is available for a full house quantity—usually 8–10 frames or more—or a complete conservatory.

Getting everything ready

Frames need to be fully deglazed, with all glass removed. For most uPVC doors, the infill panel will also need to be taken out because it contains foam and other materials that cannot be recycled with the uPVC.

Once everything is ready, place the frames together at the front of your property, somewhere our driver can easily reach from the road or driveway. Send us a photograph showing the frames in position, along with your address, and we’ll check the next available route.

Our drivers load directly from the front of the property, so there’s no need for you to be at home. We’re unable to collect from rear gardens or take frames through a house.

When will the uPVC frames be collected?

Household collections are fitted into our regular trade routes, helping us offer an efficient collection service across a wide area.

We’ll let you know when the route starts—for example, “from Tuesday.”

The collection may take place that day or over the following few days, depending on the route and available space on the van. Simply leave the frames accessible until they’ve been collected.
